About Rosacea Treatment
All the above are symptoms of a chronic inflammatory disorder called Rosacea. It affects the face, particularly spreading over the cheeks, nose and chin.
The symptoms of redness, visible blood vessels, papules and pustules appear in the middle of the face. Rosacea most commonly affects people between the ages of 20 and 50. Flushing is usually triggered by a response to something that creates heat in your body. The most common rosacea triggers are spicy food, alcohol weather changes and even stress. These are but a few, and often rosacea sufferers will have more than one. The symptoms of rosacea can lead to stinging, burning, sensitivity of the skin. Intolerance to cosmetics is also very common. In some cases, rosacea sufferer’s eyes can become red, dry and itchy.
How it works
You’ve probably tried everything, even antibiotics and topical creams prescribed by your medical practitioner.
Unfortunately, the cure for rosacea has yet to be identified, but we can certainly treat and minimise the symptoms and the effects of your rosacea leaves on your neck and face with our vascular laser treatments.
In fact, vascular laser is the gold standard in treating symptoms. But not all lasers are the same and not all treatments are the same. We will also include your neck in your treatments as well.
How Rosacea Treatment works
With years of experience of treating rosacea using vascular lasers, we have developed a two-fold approach that occurs with each treatment.:
- Minimise the look of broken capillaries
- Strengthen your skin in order that those symptoms will be reduced.
After your laser treatment, vascular rosacea sufferers will experience an immediate reduction in the appearance of broken capillaries, with a gradual reduction in redness. Over the subsequent weeks
If your rosacea is of the inflammatory type, (more general redness and poor skin tone) by strengthening your skin over a series of laser treatments the burning, flushing sensation typically reduces.
We will discuss with you the possible causes of the inflammation and best approach to lessen recurring rosacea symptoms.

Aftercare and between treatments
Think about this like gym for your skin. You can’t go once and expect changes to your body when you go to gym, can you?
The same goes for strengthening your skin and minimising your rosacea symptoms. Every treatment makes your skin stronger and stronger with flushing reducing over time, usually within 3 -4 treatments.
Between your treatments, obviously you will try to avoid your triggers, use our recommended skincare which will improve your skin at home and wear sunscreen.
That’s it, your treatments will do most of the work. Just be patient.
