About Broken Capillaries
Broken Capillaries are not actually “broken”, but they are dilated blood vessels with the top of them being visible through your skin.
Unfortunately, broken capillaries won’t disappear on their own and you need the help of a good laser therapist with a vascular laser.
Capillary Removal is the treatment of a dilated capillary using laser energy to target the blood supply within the vessel. The heat from the laser can collapse the capillary wall, causing the vessel to shut down on itself.
Results focussed treatments
Unlike IPL treatments, our vascular laser treats only the broken capillaries minimising the treatment of other areas of skin and any risk of damage to surrounding tissue.
How it works
Vascular lasers target these vessels by directing the right wavelength of light to the right depth to make the capillary wall collapse.
Your body will then naturally eliminate the capillary vessel via the lymphatic system. In fact, we can also target angiomas (little spots that look like red freckles) present on the face and upper body areas.
Laser Therapy for capillary reduction is a treatment tolerated well by most people. Depending on the quantity, location and size of the vessels, you may need 2-3 treatments.
Preparation
There’s not a lot that yo have to do, we do it all. But if you can come in without makeup that will save sme time and allow us to devote more of your session to your vascular treatment. And guys, if you can shave that will be a help as we don’t want any little hairs getting in the way.
Aftercare
Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. And a serum that contains Vitamin C that strengthens capillary walls will help minimise the risk of your capillaries returning.
